GRP Balsa Sandwich Panels

GRP balsa sandwich panels combine the advantages of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) and balsa wood. It is lightweight and maintains high compressive strength, so it is often used as a structural material that requires lightweight processing.

Balsa Wood

Balsa wood is one of the fastest growing trees and the lightest wood in the world, with a density of only 0.1kg/cm³, which is one-tenth of the weight of the same volume of water. Although it is very light, it has sufficient strength and hardness, so its structure is very strong. Balsa wood combines well with resins and adhesives.
