The compact laminate board is a type of HPL (High-Pressure Laminate), which is thicker, denser and stronger than ordinary HPL boards. It is a thermosetting resin-impregnated paper high-pressure laminate with rich surface colors and textures for decoration.

What is HPL?

HPL is made by laminating decorative colored paper containing melamine resin and multiple layers of black or brown kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin, and then pressing it with steel plates in a high-temperature and high-pressure environment. Different from traditional composite panels, it has excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, pressure resistance, fire prevention, sound insulation, and waterproofing.

Fireproof

Anti-fold board is fire-resistant. It has the highest fireproof level among organic materials. Its fireproof level can reach B2. It will not melt, drip or explode after encountering fire, and will not release toxic gases.

Weather resistance

The biggest enemy of any wall material is long-term exposure to sunlight, rain, moisture and temperature changes, but compact laminate board is weather-resistant, and has no effect on its surface regardless of sunlight, rain, wind erosion, or moisture. Even rapid temperature changes do not affect its appearance and properties.

High Strength

HPL boards that have undergone high temperature and high pressure have high elastic modulus, tensile strength and flexural strength, making them highly impact resistant. Therefore, its service life is very long, far longer than ordinary natural wood.

High nail-holding power

High-density anti-fold board has high anchor pull-out strength. This feature is particularly important for products that use bolt installation.

Ease of Processing

Compact laminates can be cut, drilled, grinded and more using standard carbon steel alloy cutting tools. It can also be cut into any desired shape with a CNC machine according to actual needs.

Easy to Clean

Compact laminate boards can remain stable for a long time because of their dense material, will not adhere to dust, and are easy to clean. They can be cleaned with organic solvents without any impact on the color.

Rich Colors

HPL surface has rich colors, and you can choose solid color, wood grain, stone grain, cloth grain and other decorative effects and personalized patterns can be customized.

Stable Performance


Although its main component is “paper”, its stability is far better than wood. It will not deform or rot in a humid environment, and will not crack or fade in a dry environment.
