GRP Panels for Trailers

GRP Panels for Trailers

Lighter, stronger, and smoother.

GRP panels consist of fiberglass panels and a core material that provides structural strength, it is lightweight, high-strength, waterproof, corrosion-resistant, gorgeous, and more. They are widely used in travel trailers, truck trailers, off-road trailers, caravans, teardrop motorhomes and more.

One-piece GRP Composite Panels

One-piece composite panel refers to the combination of multiple materials at one time during the manufacturing process to form a whole panel. This manufacturing method can ensure a strong connection between different materials and provide better overall performance. After the lamination is completed, the core material and the skin are tightly combined and are not easy to delaminate, and the surface is smooth without warping, making the GRP composite panel structure more stable and having a longer service life.

Types of GRP Sheets

We use two types of GRP sheets as the skin of trailer sandwich panels: thermosetting resin GRP sheets and thermoplastic resin GRP sheets. Thermoplastic resin GRP (CFRT – Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic) is a fiberglass sheet that is stronger and lighter than thermoset resin GRP sheet.

Insulation Series GRP Panels

The core material of the thermal insulation series GRP panels is closed-cell foam panels with low thermal conductivity, which can effectively block the flow of water vapor inside and outside the box and maintain internal temperature balance.

Lightweight Series GRP Panels

Lightweight does not mean sacrificing strength. The lightweight GRP panel processed by hot-melt composite processing achieves lighter weight and more stable performance.

High Strength Series GRP Panels

GRP panels made of plywood have sufficient strength and are made from renewable wood. This is an economical and environmentally friendly composite material.
