The trend of truck lightweighting has received widespread attention around the world. By using new materials and advanced manufacturing technologies to reduce the weight of trucks, fuel efficiency can be improved, load capacity can be increased, and wear and tear on roads can be reduced. This can help meet environmental regulations, reduce operating costs, and improve market competitiveness. Recycled PET sandwich panels are undoubtedly the ideal material for lightweight box trucks. It is a composite of recycled PET foam core and continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic sheets (we call it CFRT sheets).
Recycled PET foam sandwich panels can be used in door panels, side panels, front panels and roof panels of dry freight truck bodies.

Recycled PET Foam
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) foam is a sustainable material with high compressive strength, light weight and corrosion resistance. This foam is increasingly used as a core material for composite panels, especially in industries focused on reducing environmental impact. Its recyclability makes it an excellent choice for industries seeking to improve sustainability and performance. As recycling technology improves, the use of recycled PET foam will become more widespread, helping to achieve a more sustainable future.

Continuous Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic Sheets
CFRT sheet is a new type of lightweight FRP sheet, which is made of continuous fiber thermoplastic unidirectional prepreg tape laid at different angles (90°/0°). Its surface is covered with a polymer protective film. It has excellent anti-deformation performance, and is durable, scratch-resistant, and has excellent waterproof performance.

Product Features
Compared with aluminum or plywood dry truck bodies, what are its advantages? Let’s introduce its characteristics and advantages below.
- More Lightweight: Lightweight skin and core material bring lightweight structure. It weighs almost half of plywood of the same thickness.
- More Durable: It can withstand general impact and recover its shape quickly, while aluminum body will leave irreversible dents after impact.
- Waterproof: CFRT sheet and PET foam are not hydrophilic, and the body will not mold or rot in a humid and rainy environment for a long time. This is something that plywood body cannot do
- 100% Recyclable: After the expiration of their service life, CFRT sheets and PET foam can be recycled again.
- Low cost: Overall, using recycled PET foam sandwich panels to build truck bodies has lower material and transportation costs.
Our Craftsmanship Advantages

- High Quality Recycled PET Foam
The performance of recycled PET foam reaches more than 95% of the original PET foam. We continue to improve foaming technology and processes to enhance material performance and quality.

- Polymer Protective Film
The protective film covering the surface of the sandwich panel is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and can provide a glossy or matte surface effect.

- Larger Panel Size
The maximum size of 12mx2.8m meets the construction requirements of any light, medium, and large duty dry freight truck bodies.
- Glue-free Lamination
Using thermal lamination technology, the CFRT sheet and PET foam are laminated more tightly. The finished product has no odor, no volatility, and does not produce any harmful substances, ensuring the health of users.
